Nautica Men’s N19509G NST Chronograph Watch Review

First impression of the watch was that it was very well made. One thing I wish was different was having the controls placed on the left side. This is a big watch so they will dig into the top of your hand if you are like me and wear it on the left hand. If you wear it on the right hand, this isn’t an issue. After wearing it for a few days, I did not seem to have this issue and the watch became very comfortable. We’ll see how long the battery lasts and if it holds up over the next few months.

You will have to unscrew the middle knob first before pulling on it to change the date or time. Don’t go pulling on it and wonder why it won’t come out.

Overall this is a great watch. It looks so much better than the pictures online. You will not be disappointed.

It took me over a year to find a watch and this was the one I decided on. I’m glad I did.

Tissot Men’s T17.1.586.42 T-Sport PRC200 Chronograph Stainless Steel Blue Dial Watch Review

I was recently on a caribbean cruise and became aware of Tissot watches because they were sold on the ship (Norwegian Epic). After looking at hundreds of watches from a dozen or more producers I came to the conclusion that this was a great brand for me – a well made but reasonably priced alternative to Tags, Omegas and similarly expensive watches. However, I didn’t pull the trigger because I was unsure of the price, but I was really torn because of the beauty of this watch. Well, lo and behold the research I did when I got home showed that this was, in fact, a great watch and it WAS a great price on the ship. I was lucky to find it at a similar price at Amazon so I bought it.

I could not be happier. The weight of this watch is perfect. It’s hefty but not too heavy. You feel it enough to know it’s there, but it never comes across as being to heavy. The first thing you’ll notice is the bright polished stainless steel case and band, and the gorgeous dark blue watch face. This watch is much more beautiful in person that in any pic you’ll see of it. The face is the perfect size for my large hand and wrist. I’m not a fan of the popular huge watches that I see more of, but this watch isn’t small either. Again, it’s hefty and solid.

The only thing that makes me mad is that I received the watch loose in the Tissot box. It was not mounted on the “pillow” inside, plus the warranty card and storage bag were missing. Clearly someone at Amazon took these items and didn’t even bother to put the watch back correctly. No harm to the watch, but irritating to say the least. I’d also like my dang carry bag, Amazon. There’s no good reason for you to take this.

So I give the watch a 5 across the board, but I’m deducting one star just because of the packaging and the theft of my warranty and bag (shame on you guys)

TAG Heuer Men’s CAF2110.BA0809 2000 Aquaracer Automatic Chronograph Watch Review

I’ve had this automatic chronograph for a little over 3 years now. I wear it to work every day (I work in a restaurant) and really just beat the h*** out of it, bang it on hard surfaces, get it close to really hot heat sources, submerge it in water, you name it. It still looks really great despite a few nicks in the black part of the bezel. Every Saturday night I get home from work and clean it under running water with a mild soap and a tooth-brush, and it ends up looking almost new. It took a little while to get used to the feel of it on my wrist (Its heavier then any of my old Omegas I used to own) but after a week or two it felt like it was made for me. So after 3 years and much uncalled for abuse, it only loses a few minutes a month. The chronograph is exceptionally accurate, and very useful when cooking. Bezel still turns like new. Its very versatile and looks just as good with a suit as it does jeans and boots. My one and ONLY complaint is that it is becoming rather ubiquitous these days. I see on average 1 person a week with the same exact model (Black dial). I suppose its my fault for not having more unique taste in my timepieces, but its still rather annoying. Cant blame that one on Tag though.

Invicta Men’s 6621 II Collection Chronograph Stainless Steel Blue Dial Watch Review

I will tell you right away that the dial and bezel color are not as light as you see in the picture. More of a navy blue, not royal blue like it appears. The stainless band and case have the usual excellent quality fit and finish I have come to expect from Invicta. This watch has a real swiss chrono movement with a sweeping second hand when the chrono is running. I think this feature exhibits the precision of the movement and adds value. If I had to ask for anything in this watch, I would like a screw down crown. The crown is not overly easy to pull like my Invicta scuba, but it would be nice insurance. Additionally, the rotating bezel is not as tight as I would like but it does not slip too easily. Overall, this is a great all around watch that you can wear every day or as a dress watch, and it is not so heavy as to make it uncomfortable.

TAG Heuer Men’s CJF2114.BA0594 Link Automatic Chronograph Watch Review

I bought this watch for my husbands 40th birthday. He loves it. It is georgous, but not flashy. The color/s of the watch make you look twice at it…sometimes deep blue, sometimes bright blue. It reminds us of volga blue granite…very classy. We looked at A LOT of watches before landing on this one, some more expensive, some less, but this one was the winner. We are very happy with the purchase.

I just bought this watch and I can’t believe I did not like it in the begining only because of the plastic band, since all my watches do have stainless steel band.
I have been receiving great compliments about this watch as it is very sporty and at the same time it looks very elegant.
The plastic band feels smooth against my wrist, it is not heavy or bulky.
